This well known charming village sits in a prime position to explore the Roseland Peninsula. Nestled into a sheltered corner of Gerrans bay the brightly coloured village slopes gently into the sea and provides the ideal base for your holiday. Offering easy access to beaches and safe swimming waters, plenty of local amenities, great walks and fantastic views you cant go wrong with this village. As a family run business this is the village we know the best, having been involved in village life for many generations. We have highlighted some of its key features and amenities below:

St Mawes

This well known village sits at the head of the Roseland peninsula next to the mouth of the Percuil river and is a perfect marriage of countryside and coastline. There is plenty to see and do here with a variety of shops, cafes, deli's, pubs, hotels and restaurants. From the harbour you can access the St Mawes to Falmouth ferry which makes a great day trip, and offers a great way to see the Carrick roads estuary and surrounding countryside (follow this link to see ferry times). St Mawes is only a 20 minute drive from Portscatho and provides a larger variety of dining experiences so whatever you are after, just get in touch and we will be more than happy to steer you in the right direction.

Heading North and East from Portscatho the Roseland has plenty of villages and hamlets to explore including Portloe, Veryan and Mevagissey - after something in particular just ask!
